We are from the Vietnamese Associates.

At first, we wish to send our warmest greeting to you, the Belgian Associates, and to the other Associates all over the world.

Secondly we wish to share with all of you some informations on the activities of our Associates in Viet Nam.

Our religious activities are mainly focused on the catechesis for the children and the adults, and the spiritual formation for the youth (through the choral of the parish). Mr. Le Duc Khue is the head of our Associates in Viet Nam. Ms Nguyen Thi Le Giang is in charge of the Event Division of both Vietnamese Associates and Ton Duc Thang Pastoral Center in HCM City. Mr. Nguyen Khanh Binh is in charge of the catechesis in our parish and he is also responsible of both Catechumen Division and Tradition Division of Ton Duc Thang Pastoral Center in HCMC.

Another activity of our Associates is to have once a month a preaching given by the sisters of the Congregation of Our Lady or by several priests coming from different monasteries in Viet Nam. The preach may concern the religious events throughout the year, or the various aspects of the spiritual life of the catholic nowadays. The essential property consists in its high educational characteristic which can be implemented for all the members of the Associates irrespective of age and intellectual level. As so far, we have handled various topics as follows:

              Pilgrimage to Lourdes with Saint Bernadette

              The role of the catechist in the new era

              Life, precious present given by God to us

              How to conduct one's life in @ era, etc…

Our final activity is to devote ourselves in the charity, and to give assistance to the Pastoral Center during big and religious events.

Last Sunday 29 March 2009, we took part with enthusiasm in the ceremony organized by the Pastoral Centre for 2,000 new catechumen in HCM City, Viet Nam. The high and solemn mass was celebrated by our Holy Father Pham Minh Man, Saigon Cardinal, at the Ton Duc Thang Pastoral Centre in HCM City. Our duty was to distribute badges to catechists or catechumen, books, candles, brochures and mineral water to each and every attendant. 

We would like to say thank you to you for the creation of the international website for the Associates of the Congregation of Our Lady, all the members now can communicate and share with each other various informations concerning the Associates in the world. We sincerely hope that we can make a small contribution to the completion of our Associates international website.
